Built from a real problem. Designed for real communities.
It was August 2016. My wife and I were living in an apartment complex with NO security for my 300 lb. Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle. THEN I read about how Florida has one of the highest motorcycle theft rates in the country and most of those thefts occurred in high-density residences.
I knew I had to do something to secure my bike. I felt vulnerable and worried. I researched motorcycle security, but I didn’t like what I found. Disc brake locks and trackers still wouldn’t stop a bike from being loaded into a truck or van and disappearing forever.
Using AutoCAD engineering software, I decided to create something that could lock my bike directly to the ground. Three months later, I was finally satisfied with the design and brought in my dad Rob to help move the idea forward.
Together we worked with a local welder to build the first MotoKeep prototype. By mid-November, the system was sitting in my dad’s garage as we finalized paint, anchoring, and outdoor durability testing.
Today, the MotoKeep System™ is designed to help riders feel secure while helping properties create safer, more organized motorcycle parking.
